Tasks:
The Seminary Commission shall:
i. Act in advisory capacity to the bishop in the appointment of seminary staff (priest-staff as well as seminarian-staff)

ii. Make occasional visit to diocesan seminaries with a view to finding out areas of improvement

iii. Raise funds for the general welfare of the seminary, i.e. for the feeding and maintenance of seminarians and seminaries.

iv. Work hand in hand with the formation team of the seminaries

v. Monitor the standard of education in our seminaries

vi. Study the diocesan financial involvement in the training of priests and religious and the possibility of organizing various forms of sponsorship and ways of getting such accomplished.
